Taste of a New Jerseyan

I think I found the hors d'oeuvres of my taste.

It is crumbled gorgonzola, a blue cheese, on top of a kosher pickled dill. It gives a sharp and pungent taste to the crunchy dill. It tastes healthy and it is, most likely, healthy too. It goes well with wine, red or white.

This is not the food I grew up with. But with my wife's influence and easy access to other ethnic delicacies, I become adventurous in gastronomic explorations.

I still cook rice and a vegetable stew called pinakbet, equally healthy as above.
