My daughter cut her hair and donated to Locks of Love http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locks_of_love. I am very proud of her.
I have been fascinated with human evolution. The American Museum of Natural History has opened the recently renovated Anne and Bernard Spitzer Hall of Human Origins http://www.amnh.org/exhibitions/permanent/humanorigins/?src=h_h. I will not be able to persuade my teenage kids to see this. Maybe my wife, who has no interest in museum, may come with me out of pity.
