An Apparent Migration from NJ

A recent comment of the census of NJ from intellectuals stated that there is an increasing negative migration because the "tax burden".

NJ gets 57 cents to a dollar we sent to the federal government. We are subsidising some other states. That is some taxing situation!

NJ Transit predicts a double in ridership in 20 years between New Jersey and Manhattan. There will be 42 million passengers commuting from Jersey to Penn Station in 33th St midtown Manhattan this year.

A new tunnel will be built from the Jersey side to 34th St in Manhattan.

I do not see a "negative" migration.

Hardworking New Jerseyans

Despite our budget deficit and high taxes, New Jersey remains second in per capita income and first on median income for 2006.

How this happens?

Maybe New Jerseyans are working hard to keep ends meet. We work hard enough!

New Jersey is the americana of work ethic.

I am proud of it.
